PUBLIC ART
Commissions of Flora Rosefsky's art can become lasting legacies for a public institution and like all commissions, there is a close collaboration effort between the artist and client. Rosefsky is an approved artist for The Georgia Fulton County Arts Council's Public Arts Registry in their crafts/fiber category.

Two of Rosefsky's large community quilts, which were commissions for non-profit organizations, are now part of those institutions where the public can see them as part of the building's design component. The Jewish Community Center -Binghamton,NY and The William Breman Jewish Home - Atlanta, GA have their large quilts displayed in their respective front entrance areas. See samples of quilts here.

A recent public art installation of Rosefsky's stained-glass designs are in the newly renovated sanctuary of Temple Kehillat Chaim - Roswell, GA. She worked closely with both the architect, Irv Weiner as well as Rabbi Harvey Winokur. See the stained glass windows here.
