Harry
Ephemera and Mixed-Media Collage, 22 1/2" x30", 2005

Using old photographs, photo copies, stamps, and other personal ephemera papers, I created a portrait of my father-in-law, Harry Rosefsky, of blessed memory (1904-2002). Since he was someone who loved plants and flowers, I felt it was most appropriate to create the painted paper border to embrace the portrait.
This new Works on Paper artwork is part of an upcoming solo show at The Sycamore Place Gallery in Decatur from April 16-May 25, 2005. The Opening Reception is on Saturday, April 16, 7:00-10:00pm. Special gallery hours: Friday and Saturday, 5:00-7:00pm.
Giclee prints are available after April 15.
