Caregiving
Collage Using Daily Journal Ephemera, Absorbent paper, Cotton Curtain and Crochet Fabric Trim, 11x14” – 2007
From a review by Catherine Fox in the Atlanta JOURNAL CONSTITUTION, “….doily and diary pieces and cotton wadding serve as visual punctuation and symbolize souls coming undone in Flora Rosefsky’s ‘Caregiving’.” (June 10,2007)

For many men and women, how we care for our elderly or frail parents embodies
a theme of unselfish giving to others. Reminiscent of a comforting quilt, the
artwork incorporates fragments from a daily journal that recorded the acts
of loving kindness from one family member to another. This art pays tribute
to all caregivers in our families and our community who bring compassionate
care to those whom they love and honor.
The work was part of an invitational show, “Constructed Images: The Art
of Collage” at The Swan Coach House Gallery in Atlanta, May 3-June 17,
2007.
