Seder
Marker pen drawing, (11x14"), 1999

The spring festival of Passover is celebrated at home when family and friends gather around a table to retell the story of The Exodus in a special book called a Hagaddah. This special meal and event is called a seder, which translates from Hebrew to English as the word for order. Many symbolic foods are eaten, and new and old rituals are performed.
