In celebration of the fall holiday of Simchat Torah, men, women, and children of all ages joyfully march around the synagogue sanctuary holding onto Torahs. This tradition reinforces the joy of concluding the reading of the last words of the Old Testament and beginning with reading all Five Books of Moses again, starting with Genesis.
