Songs of Praise
Paper cutout, gouache, pastel and fabric mixed-media collage 40x60" - 2003

Recent mixed-media and paper cutout collages often incorporate ritual symbols
from Rosefsky's Jewish heritage, creating a mysterious visual shorthand
to tell a story. SONGS OF PRAISE reflects an interpretation of traditional
prayers , where birds can be metaphors for the fervent, continuous and constant
worship for the Almighty, bringing a joyful spirituality into this journey
called life.
