Inspired by the title of a popular Beatle’s record found at Kudzu Antiques in Decatur, Georgia – the artwork’s repetition of circular shapes contrasts the tension of random lines and shapes.
An almost bygone sweetness of dainty doilies combines with a hard black
vinyl phonograph record to express the challenge of finding solutions, to
look at life “half full” with optimism and hope, “to work
it out”.
