Selected list of themes using  paper cutout collage and mixed-media

As an experienced teaching artist, Rosefsky conducted workshops and coordinated the "Sunday Studio" program at The High Museum of Art in Atlanta for over 13 years. She participated as an artist instructor in the museum's Young Masters Summer Camp programs for several years and in the spring, 2002 was the selected artist to work in an afterschool outreach program with students at Sutton Middle School - Atlanta along with The High Museum of Art's Young Careers volunteers. Until a year ago when Rosefsky retired from Young Audiences, she led workshops and residencies in schools all across the Atlanta and neighboring areas. Her collaborative paper cutout collage murals are installed in many school and institution lobbies and hallways where often hundreds of participants were involved in the collage process.

Rosefsky is particularly appreciated and known for her ability to create a “risk free” environment where those creating art take chances to explore their creativity. The collaboration between the participants of all ages with Rosefsky results in dynamic and meaningful artwork that  often become lasting legacies for the community.

"Imagination. Energy. Love of the arts and her students. This best describes Flora Rosefsky. Her excitement is contagious. Her warm personality and love of what she does makes Flora a master at her profession. " Nicki Corgel, Art Chairperson - Vestal Central Schools, Vestal, NY
