Making It Personal: Beyond Scrapbooking
At the Sycamore Gallery & Studios
120 Sycamore Place - Decatur, GA 30030
Using "ephemera" (found paper), create personal and meaningful art, that like a scrapbook, can tell a "visual story". Bring to the class photos or photo copies of important people in your life, or in some cases, a favorite pet as well. Bring letters, postcards, or copies that also can be used for your artwork. We will be cutting the various papers, so if they are archival, be sure to make good color or black and white copies that can be cut up. As a mixed-media work, we may incorporate pastel, paint, ink, with paper and fabric cutouts. Download flyer.
